Therapy/Class: Anti-Allergic/Antihistamine: Selective Peripheral H 1 Receptor Antagonist
Mechanism of Action:
It is a non-sedating, long-acting histamine antagonist with selective peripheral H 1 receptor antagonist affinity and no affinity for muscarinic receptors. It also inhibited histamine-induced wheal and flare skin reactions for 24 hours following single doses.
Indications:
- Symptomatic Relief of Nasal and Non-Nasal Symptoms of Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis (SAR)
- Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria
Dosage & Administration: 4ml once daily, either one hour before or two hours post meal.
HOW SUPPLIED: KIDZOK is available as syrup in 60ml pack.
