Therapy/Class: Respiratory / Bronchodilator
Mechanism of Action:
- Levosalbutamol is a selective β2-adrenergic receptor agonist.
- It relaxes the smooth muscles in the airways by stimulating β2 receptors, leading to bronchodilation and improved airflow.
Indications:
- Bronchial asthma
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Exercise-induced bronchospasm
Dosage & Administration:
Children (Above 4 Years):
- Recommended dose: 1 Respule (2.5 mL) to be nebulized 2 to 4 times daily.
How Supplied:
- Prolintus 0.31 is supplied in a box contains 8 strips of 5 Respules (2.5 mL each), for a total of 40 Respules.
- Prolintus 0.63 is supplied in a box contains 8 strips of 5 Respules (2.5 mL each), for a total of 40 Respules.
