Mechanism of Action:

Ferrous Ascorbate: It provides a highly absorbable form of iron, which is essential for the production of haemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout the body. Iron is crucial for preventing and treating iron deficiency anaemia, a common condition in children characterized by low levels of red blood cells and haemoglobin. Iron supports healthy growth and development, cognitive function, and immune system function in children.

Folic Acid: Also known as vitamin B9. It is essential for the synthesis of DNA and the formation of red blood cells. Folic acid deficiency can lead to megaloblastic anaemia, a type of anaemia characterized by large, immature red blood cells. Supplementing with folic acid helps prevent and treat anaemia and supports normal red blood cell production, which is important for overall health and well-being in children.
