Therapy / Class: Herbal Digestive Syrup

Mechanism of Action:

Pudina: It exerts its therapeutic effects through several mechanisms. The primary active compound in mint, menthol, acts as a natural antispasmodic, helping to relax smooth muscles in the gastrointestinal tract. This property makes it effective in relieving digestive issues, such as indigestion and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Additionally, menthol has a cooling effect, providing relief from nausea and promoting a sensation of freshness.

Saunf: It exerts its effects through various bioactive compounds, including anethole. It acts as a carminative, helping to relieve flatulence and bloating by relaxing the muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. Fennel also stimulates digestion and can be used to alleviate indigestion and colic.

Ajwain: It exerts its therapeutic effects primarily through thymol, a potent antimicrobial and antispasmodic compound. Thymol helps in relieving digestive issues such as flatulence, indigestion, and abdominal discomfort by relaxing the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract. Its carminative and anti-flatulent effects are valuable in traditional medicine for promoting overall digestive well-being.
