Spectrum of Coverage:
Aerobic Gram-Positive Microorganisms:
- Staphylococcus aureus (including β-lactamase producing strains)
- Streptococcus pneumoniae
- Streptococcus pyogenes
Aerobic Gram-Negative Microorganisms:
- Haemophilus influenzae (including β-lactamase producing strains)
- Haemophilus parainfluenzae (including β-lactamase producing strains)
- Moraxella catarrhalis (including β-lactamase producing strains)
Mechanism of Action:
Bactericidal activity of cefdinir results from inhibition ofcell wall synthesis & it is stable in the presence of some, but not all, β-lactamase enzymes.
Indications:
- Acute Bacterial Otitis Media
- Pharyngitis/Tonsillitis
- Uncomplicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections
- Acute Maxillary Sinusitis
- Community-Acquired Pneumonia (CAP)

Paediatric Patients (Age 6 Months Through 12 Years) | ||

HOW SUPPLIED: PEDIANIR is a Dry Syrup available as 30ml packs with sterile water
